International Rep

Hi everyone! I’m Zenia, your international rep for the year. We all know how hard it is being away from home for months at a stretch. If you ever feel overwhelmed, unsure or just want to chat to someone that can relate drop me a message at anytime of the day! I’d also love to hear any exciting ideas you have for international socials you’d like to see happen

International Students

As international students, moving to a new country and embarking on a demanding yet rewarding course like medicine can at times be overwhelming. Our aim at MedSoc, is to ensure that all students have a welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable time at University of Nottingham, School of Medicine.

Below are a few posters about settling into medical school as an international student, put together by our last committee. If you haven’t already, head over to the International Students Facebook page and join!

Here are some tips:

  • If you are ever lost, struggling or lonely, know that there is always someone you can talk to! Don’t be afraid to contact any of the welfare or MedSoc committee members!

  • Don’t be afraid to try new things! You are only at University once, make every second count! It’s also never too late to get involved.

  • Have fun!
