If there’s one thing you’ve heard about MedSoc, it’s definitely our socials. From the classy Welcome Ball to the infamous Boat Party, not to mention the fantastic socials we were able to put on last year despite COVID-19 restrictions - including Quiz nights, a Bingo night featuring some QMC legends, and many others!

Welcome Ball
To all the freshers out there - what better way to get to know your course mates than by dressing up nicely, having a three-course dinner followed by an afterparty at Pryzm?! Tickets will sell out so get yours soon to avoid missing out!
Medics Cocktail Party
It's a night full of crazy outfits and a chance for you to dress up and bond with your medic family at Ocean! So, get your costumes made, your medic families together and prepare yourselves for the hottest event of the year!
Halloween Spooktacular
It's back and it's bigger and better than ever! Prepare for a terrifying night with vampires, zombies, ghosts and ghouls making an appearance from all across the med school. We want to see you all in the most horrifying attire you can muster!
Ward Round
It's time to bring out the scrubs! We will be hitting the streets of Nottingham with the Physios, Nurses, Midwives, Vets, Nutritionists and Dietitians to battle it out for the title of rulers of the hospital!
Winter Ball
It's the most wonderful time of the year and the perfect way to end first term before you disappear home for Christmas! Open to all years, this year's Winter Ball promises to be new, exciting, and an unforgettable evening.
Boat Party
Celebrate the end of second term on a cruise down the Trent. Even better - there's an open bar! It's the perfect night to enjoy a classy dinner in your formal-wear before letting down your hair in Crisis!
Summer Garden Party
Picture this: a marquee on the grounds of Lakeside Arts, the sun setting over the Uni Park Lake, and everyone dancing together one last time before the end of the year, followed by an after-party at Pryzm! This event is open to all years.
Open Mic Night
Can you sing, dance, have an audience in stitches, or pull a rabbit out of a hat? If so, come and demonstrate your talents at MedSoc's open mic night.

Wooooooooaaaaah, we're halfway there! Every 3rd year medical student is cordially invited to the most prestigious event of the year. Let's say adios to that BMedSci in style!
