Nottingham Medics Hockey Club offers the chance to play mixed hockey with medics of all year groups. As well as competing in the university's weekly 7 a side IMS matches, we offer the only chance to play regular 11 a-side hockey outside of the University's main teams, competing in a National Medics competition against other medical schools, as well as several other medics tournaments throughout the year. The NAMS weekend tournament is really the culmination and highlight of the year. The whole squad leaves on the Friday to a city in the UK, where we join all the other med schools for a 2 day tournament, complete with socials each evening. We welcome players of all abilities, from complete beginners to those of the highest standard. As well as all the hockey going on, there are plenty of socials throughout the year, with the highlight being our annual alumni ball. We will be at both the university's and the med school's freshers' fair so come find us!

• IMS: 7 a-side every Sunday morning

• NAMS Championship: 11 a-side; fixtures TBC

• Tournament in the South: 11 a-side; Saturday 17th - Sunday 18th November

• NAMS Weekend: 11 a-side tournament; date TBC

• Varsity vs Leicester: date TBC
